Excelicare to Provide Custom EHR and Patient Empowerment Capabilities to First-of-its-kind Sports Clinic

Closed loop solution will facilitate comprehensive body assessments.

NanoM Healthcare Dubai, a member of the Emirates Hospitals Group, has selected Excelicare as its EHR and patient empowerment platform. NanoM is the first health assessment facility of its kind. Developed primarily for the world of soccer and other professional sports, their state-of-the-art clinic combines cutting edge technology and world class medical expertise to offer clients comprehensive analysis of their health and fitness through medical and physiological assessments, diagnostic investigations and a one-stop sports laboratory that provides gait, motion and swing analysis, muscle kinetics, and testing of agility, coordination and joint range of motion.

NanoM will utilize the Excelicare Hub as its core EHR system, enabling data capture of specialized assessments and reporting, as well as integrated data capture for lab and radiology systems. Clients will be able to access their information, including their assessment reports, through Excelicare’s myCarepod mobile app and, as needed, share this information with their agents, club sponsors and healthcare professionals. They will also be able to update that information — to complete new health assessments required as part of their follow-up plan, for example — with data entered manually or automatically through connected health & fitness devices.
