The data presented in this CRP represents Excelicare’s initial report on emissions, therefore our baseline year is also our current reporting year. Key information affecting our emissions is as follows: We are an SME providing IT professional services. Since 2020, when we had a solely owned office complex, and due to the Covid-19 outbreak, we began utilising full employee homeworking. Due to the success of that model we determined to remain 100% homeworking based., and also moved all of our servers and infrastructure to the Cloud. We have no company vehicles, and upstream and downstream transportation and distribution emissions are zero, there is zero waste generated. Our Scope 3 data includes business travel, and purchased goods and services emissions derived from expenses and activities. |

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets:
“We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 14.3 tCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 50%.”

We are members of the SME Climate Hub and are committed to reducing our emissions and achieve our targets as described above.
In the future we hope to implement measures such as:
• Further reducing business travel as much as possible by utilising remote/virtual meeting tools. When travel is necessary, we will utilise shared transportation.
• We will encourage all employees to:
o use green or sustainable energy sources at home,
o adopt energy efficient LED/PIR lighting controls,
o turn off equipment when not in use overnight, or over the weekend.
• We will strive to become 100% paper free.
• We will ensure that our supply chain utilises green energy sources.
• We will employ carbon offsets for our emissions.
Declaration and Sign Off
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been completed in accordance with PPN 06/21 and associated guidance and reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans.
Emissions have been reported and recorded in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the GHG Reporting Protocol corporate standard[1] and uses the appropriate Government emission conversion factors for greenhouse gas company reporting[2].
Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions have been reported in accordance with SECR requirements, and the required subset of Scope 3 emissions have been reported in accordance with the published reporting standard for Carbon Reduction Plans and the Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) Standard3.
This Carbon Reduction Plan has been reviewed and signed off by the board of directors (or equivalent management body).
