PJ Barber

PJ is a senior executive with a long and successful history in the Telecommunications, Networking and Healthcare IT industries. He most recently held the position of Vice President of Development at Allscripts Healthcare. Over the course of his career, PJ has been at the forefront of incubating nascent technologies and transformative solutions across the areas of Mobility, Virtualization, Cloud Services, and Unified Communications & Collaboration. PJ’s experience spans 12 years with Cisco Systems and 15 years with Bell Labs, and involved activities from advanced research in Artificial Intelligence and Speech Technologies through turning around large corporate acquisitions. PJ graduated from the University of Miami with a dual major in Computer Science and Mathematics, and later earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
