Excelicare Achieves Certification to ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Standard for Information Security Management
Certification confirms Excelicare is a secure provider of clinical information systems.
Having originally achieved certification to the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard in 2015, Excelicare subsidiary AxSys Technology Ltd. is proud to announce that they have continued to attain this certification in 2017.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 is the internationally recognized standard for establishing, implementing, maintaining and continually improving an information security management system (ISMS) within an organization. An ISMS is a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information — including any 3rd-party information entrusted to the organization — that enables the continued accessibility, confidentiality and integrity of the information as well as legal compliance. It includes people, processes and IT systems.
Certification confirms that Excelicare takes information security seriously, has identified risks and has best practices in place to control and mitigate them, such that clients can have confidence in the integrity and security of any information they have entrusted with the company.
